At last all the hard work has paid off…!

After 8 weeks of blood, sweat and tears (from chopping onions) i’m really happy to share some pics of the pub in all it’s glory. We’re officially open now so instead of checking out this blog why not pop in and see the changes for yourself?

I know you’ve all been waiting patiently for your pub to re-open and I promise it won’t be too long. Here’s the second installment of our epic make-over and haven’t the builders,decoraters, plasterers,electricians,carpenters,cleaners, technical services and of course the team at Everards done such a great job!

The Cradocks New Bar
Theres been some big changes to the bar with the new flooring being laid and there’s new down-lighting being installed. The bar itself is nearly there all we need now is the stock to fill it!

Lounge AreaWe’ve finished sand-blasting and by eck that was a tough job to do. The rooms ready for a final coat of paint and some new carpet.

Keeping Things ToastyI know the weathers not great right now but soon enough you’ll be able to enjoy the warmth of our huge fire place. We’ve knocked it through so that even more of you can cosy up next to it with a pint. Also the carpet fitters have been and they’re doing a great job installing the new carpet throughout the pub, I might ask you to remove your shoes before you come in :)

Bums On SeatsThings are quickly changing in the new look restaurant. We’ve been busy decorating and installing some new lighting in this part of your pub. The next job is to build the new booths and fixed seating. I’ve been busy choosing fabrics and I think the upholsterer is going to have his hands full but it’s going to look great. What do you think of the wall paper folks?

The Cradocks TerraceThe guys have been busy laying down the new paving stones this week and things are starting to take shape. The Pagoda is now up and we’ll be decking it with some nice new furniture. When it’s finished it will be a great place to enjoy a drink or two
